Rating QR code

Every kind of code

How it works

  1. In your account, choose “Rating”.
  2. Give the page a title, such as “How was your visit?”, and a short text above the stars if you like.
  3. Choose whether there is a comment box: “Optional comment” or “No comment box”.
  4. If you wish, write a consent text and the message shown once it is sent, and choose to be notified when a rating arrives.
  5. Download the code, print it, and read the ratings under “Responses”.

Where it is used

  • On a restaurant table, or at a café's till.
  • In a barber's or a beauty salon, by the mirror.
  • In a hotel room, or inside the door of a holiday flat.
  • At a clinic after the appointment, and at the reception desk.
  • On the delivery car or with the order, to rate the delivery itself.
  • In a course or an event hall, before people leave.

What people see when they scan it

Your title, then five stars: Very bad, Bad, Okay, Good, Excellent. They pick one, add a comment if they like, and tap “Send”. No app, no account, no name or number asked for.

Once it is sent they see your thank-you message and the date their rating arrived.

How it differs from a Google review code

A Google review is public: anyone who looks your business up sees it, under the writer's name.

A rating QR code keeps the rating in your account, where only your team sees it. Customers speak plainly, and you learn what needs fixing in their own words.

Each has its place: the rating to hear what your customers think, the Google review for those who want to tell everyone.

Customer satisfaction in figures

Each rating is a score out of five with its comment, time and code. Give each branch its own code to know where ratings came from, download them as Excel or CSV to work out each month's average, and read each comment beside its score to know why.

Under “Responses” you mark what you have dealt with. With notifications on, you get a notice under the bell, and by e-mail if you chose it, naming the code only.

An editable code

It lives in your account only, never as a static code. Change the title or text any time, and see how often it was scanned.

It comes with “Forms and the response inbox”, with the Start plan and those above it. Pricing

Questions about a rating QR code

Does the rating appear on Google?

No. It stays in your account and is not published. For a public review on Google, use a Google review QR code.

Is the comment required?

No. Choosing a star is required; the comment is optional. You can also hide the comment box altogether.

Can a customer rate more than once?

Each time the page is shown, it sends one rating; to send another, they go back to the form. And one device can only send so many in a few minutes.

Do I see the average rating?

Under “Responses” you see each rating with its score and comment. To work out the average, download them as an Excel or CSV file.

Who can see the ratings?

The members of your organization, in your account. Neither the customer's IP address nor their browser details are stored with a rating.
