Every kind of code
How it works
- In your free account, choose “Coupon”.
- Write the offer, such as “Your second coffee free”, its details, and add a picture if you like.
- Type the coupon code if the offer has one, set the day and time it ends, and write the terms.
- Add the button's link and text, such as “Order now” opening your shop. The button also takes a phone number, a text message or an e-mail address.
- Download the code and print it.
What a customer sees
- The offer's name, picture and details, in your brand's colours and with its logo.
- The coupon code in large type, and a “Copy code” button to paste it at checkout.
- “Valid until” with the day and the time.
- The terms, collapsed under their heading for anyone who wants to read them.
- The redeem button, with the text you chose.
It opens in the browser, with no app. You can add a WhatsApp button so a customer can ask about the offer before coming.
When the offer ends
At the time you set, the code and the button are hidden and the page says the offer has ended. No need to take the sticker down on the day.
The QR code keeps working: write a new offer, and the same sticker opens it. One sticker for every month's offer.
Making the offer work
- Keep the coupon code short and easy to read out at the till.
- Put anything that avoids disputes in the terms: which branches, a minimum order, whether it can be combined with other offers.
- Set the hour it ends, not only the day: the offer ends at exactly the time you enter.
- Place the code where customers wait or come back to: the receipt, the bag, the table.
Where it is used
- On the receipt or the bag: a discount on the next visit.
- A sticker on the window or the table for the week's offer.
- A card handed out at a fair or an opening day.
- Inside the product's box: a code for the next order from the online shop.
- A thank-you card for your regular customers.
- A message to your customers on WhatsApp or by e-mail: you send the page's link itself.
The offer changes, the print does not
Extended the offer or changed the code? Change it from your phone, and the printed sticker opens the new one at once. To stop an offer early, bring its end time forward. And you see how often it was scanned.
The free plan keeps 3 codes editable, for good. Pricing
Questions about a coupon QR code
Does everyone who scans get the same code?
Yes. The page shows one code to everybody. A limit on uses, or a code per customer, is set in the till or online shop that accepts the code.
Does the offer need a code?
No. Leave the code empty and the page shows the offer, its terms and its button without one.
What does somebody see after the offer ends?
The offer's name and details, and that it ended, with its date. No code and no redeem button.
Can I extend the offer?
Yes. Change the expiry date in your account, and the code and the button reappear.
Is it free?
Yes, on the free plan. It is an editable code, so it counts towards the 3 codes that plan keeps editable.
